Q: Why do you recommend yearly eye exams? A: It’s important because certain eye diseases, such as glaucoma, have no symptoms and can only be detected during an eye exam.
Q: At what age should I have my child’s eyes examined? A: If a parent has noticed anything unusual about a child’s eyes such as excessive tearing, irregular pupils, or one eye turning in or out then that child should be seen right away. We recommend routine eye exams starting at age three.
